Come join us for our second meetup! Free Admission, 1 drink (soda or liquor) minimum to help support the bar. Prizes to be won and a free demo of working with circle looms. Bring your own looms or try one of ours. Bring the project you're working on and see what others are making. Its a great way to get inspiration and to have an excuse to Knit or Crochet.

Upcoming Crafty Events in Queens
I hope everyone stays in a safe place during the storms and gets some crafting done.
Saturday Aug 27th we may close early due to the storm so please call before you come out.
Sunday Aug 28th Should have been out first meeting of Glendale Knits (& Crochets) but we have postponed it till Sept 4th. We hope you can come out. For more information visit our Facebook or Meetup Page.
Sunday Sept 18th is the American Legion Craft Fair Fund Raiser. We have rented a table there for their last 3 events and its always been fun. They still have a few tables left if you thing you want to sell your handmade wears.

The Art of Can - creating art from Red Bull cans
OK all you crafters. Red Bull is having a creative contest. You can see past entries at www.redbullartofcan.com
This looks like a neat way for them to promote arts and creativity. Anyone that wants to do this, just mention that when you come in my store and you'll get 10% off your purchases plus a free can of Red Bull (while supplies last).
The only rule is the deadline for entries is May 15th 2009 so get busy!
